I am a non tech-savvy person but fed up with the current state of OS monopoly (iOS and android) and how they are going about changing things little by little. All my thinking and conclusions points to a web os alternative and as far as I know (or what Claude told me) this is a good place to share my anxiety and offer any help. All I require is the basic functionalities, navigation, and WhatsApp. We can always do online banking. I have a few devices (Xperia x, xz2P, xz3, pixel 6, 8 pro, an zte Open C running firefox os, etc), a good laptop (M2 Max 32Gigs) and lots of free time. I have experience flashing a few phones and stuff, but that's it. If there anything I or others reading can do, please share. Hope I posted this in the right place, not very good with forums. Please feel free to share your thoughts as well.
